Practical AI for small businesses.

Less copying, chasing and starting from scratch. I help you learn useful AI tools or set up one repetitive task, with a person checking the work.

Book a call

Start with the work you already do.

For small local businesses, professional offices such as law firms, accountants, clinics and realtors, nonprofits and other agencies. You do not need an AI strategy. You need a task that is worth making easier.

Local or remote Ontario-based, with in-person work in Grey-Bruce and remote work across Ontario and Canada.

People stay responsible AI drafts, a person approves. Your accounts and data stay yours.

AI Setup Sprint

$750

One repetitive task automated in one focused day. We agree on the task and what counts as working before the day starts.

Talk about ai setup sprint

One task, from call to handover.

We start small enough to understand the task and check whether the setup is useful.

  1. Have a call

Tell me where the week gets repetitive. You do not need a technical brief.

  2. Pick one task

Choose a task worth doing, agree on the scope and decide where a person needs to check the result.

  3. Set it up

Connect the right tools in your accounts and test with examples we are allowed to use.

  4. Practise together

Learn how to use it, check its work and pause it when something looks wrong.

  5. Hand it over

You keep your accounts and data, with instructions you can follow. Ongoing care is optional.

What this will not do.

AI will not run your business unsupervised, replace professional judgement or make every task worth automating. I will tell you when a simpler non-AI fix makes more sense.

No unchecked promises Messages and important changes need human approval. We agree on review points before setup.

No guaranteed results No promised time savings, sales increases or ChatGPT placement.

What I have actually built.

I build and run my own AI operations assistant for Creative Mess. It reads email, drafts replies for me to approve, tracks invoices and does research.

I have also built custom WooCommerce plugins, a lead research and CRM tool, and automated inventory sync for a record shop. I use this stuff every day in my own business before I set it up in yours.

Before you hand a task to AI.

What happens to my data?

Your accounts and data stay yours. Before setup, we agree what information the workflow needs, which tools can see it and who has access. We review the tools' data settings. Do not put confidential client, patient or staff information into a public AI tool without an approved approach.

Are tool subscriptions included?

No. Paid AI or automation tools are separate from my fee and billed to your own accounts. I explain any required subscriptions before you agree to the work.

Do I need to be techy?

No. You need to know the task you do now and be willing to practise. I explain the setup in plain language and leave you with instructions.

What if it gets something wrong?

AI can get things wrong. AI drafts, a person approves. We put review points before messages go out or important records change, and I show you how to check, correct and pause the workflow. It is not a substitute for professional judgement.

Which task keeps coming back?

Tell me what you do now and what you wish took less time. We'll work out whether AI is useful, and what a sensible first step costs.
